By Car
During peak season, traffic restrictions are in place—such as one-way streets, alternate-day license plate restrictions, and maximum vehicle size limits—so we recommend checking with the tourist offices before you leave. Vehicle access to the Historic Center of Amalfi (Z.T.L.—updated hours) is permitted ONLY for vehicles with a confirmed reservation at the respective accommodation or parking garage.
From the North
OVERVIEW: Take the A3 and exit at Vietri sul Mare, then take the SS 163 (Amalfi Coast Highway) until you reach Amalfi. Alternatively, take the A30 and exit at Salerno, then follow the SS 163.
TRAFFIC: Take the A3 and exit at Castellammare di Stabia; continue on the SS 366 toward Agerola, then toward Amalfi; finally, follow the SS 163 to Amalfi.
From the South
Take the A3 and exit at Vietri sul Mare, then continue along State Route 163 (Amalfi Coast Highway) to Amalfi.
By Train
The nearest train station is Salerno. From here, you can reach Amalfi by taxi, on SITA buses, or by ferry from the Masuccio pier at Piazza della Concordia.

Naples Capodichino Airport is about 55 km away. The easiest and fastest way to get to Amalfi from here is to book a very comfortable private transfer that will take our guests directly to the doorstep of “Sharon House.” Alternatively, there are regular buses that connect the airport to the Napoli Centrale train station, and from there you can choose to take a direct train to Salerno or a direct bus to Salerno/Amalfi.
The Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport is about 45 km from Amalfi and is the closest airport to the city.
