If you’re driving to Amalfi, it’s important to know that the historic center is subject to temporary traffic restrictions (ZTL) established by the municipal government.
During certain times of day—primarily around school start and dismissal times—incoming vehicles are not permitted to enter for the first time. For this reason, we recommend that you plan your arrival taking these restrictions into account.
However, there are specific daily time slots during which first-time access is permitted:
